2. What data we collect and why
2.1 Contact form
When you submit our contact form, we collect the data you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the topic of your enquiry, your message, and any files (drawings) you choose to attach. We use this data to answer your enquiry, prepare an estimate, and take other steps you request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Phone number and email address are required — we cannot reply without them; the other fields are optional.
Attached drawings. Technical files you upload (CAD drawings, models, plans) often contain commercially sensitive information. We treat them as confidential: they are stored on our own infrastructure, are accessible only to Modulina staff who work on your enquiry, and are never shared with third parties without your agreement.
2.2 Technical and security data
When you use the contact form, our systems record technical events (IP address, browser information, upload metadata) to protect the service from abuse and to diagnose failures (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure). Security logs are kept for 90 days.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission comes from a human. Turnstile processes technical browser data on behalf of Cloudflare, Inc. — see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
2.3 Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses:
- Essential cookies — required for the website to function (page caching, security). These do not require consent.
- Statistics — Google Analytics, which helps us understand how the website is used.
- Marketing — Meta (Facebook) Pixel, used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
Statistics and marketing cookies are set by third parties (Google LLC, Meta Platforms) and are based on consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
3. How long we keep your data
- Contact form enquiries, including attached files — 12 months from submission, after which they are automatically deleted, unless the enquiry has led to a business relationship (in that case the data is kept as part of the client record for as long as the relationship and applicable legal obligations require).
- Security logs — 90 days.
4. Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers (data processors) to operate this website and answer enquiries:
- Hostinger — website and server hosting infrastructure.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — form abuse protection (Turnstile).
- Google — business email (Google Workspace), web fonts, embedded maps, and analytics.
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement (Pixel).
Where these providers process data outside the European Economic Area (Google, Cloudflare, Meta), transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time (for processing based on consent), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@modulina.eu. We will respond within one month.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt, ada@ada.lt) or with the supervisory authority of your own EU member state.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page.
