At Modulina Straw Panels, we believe in the power of collaboration to reshape our world for the better. That belief came to life in a powerful way during the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome, where a landmark Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the founding partners of Rebuild Green 2030 and NOCON AS, a leading Norwegian construction consulting consortium.
A Visionary Alliance
The memorandum was signed by:
- Kateryna Pylypchuk, Vice President of FIABCI-Ukraine 🇺🇦
- Alissa Bankovska, CEO of Synchro Space 🇺🇦
- Trond Olsen, Director of NOCON AS 🇳🇴
This moment was witnessed and endorsed by:
- Žilvinas Bitinas, CEO of Modulina Straw Panels and co-initiator of Rebuild Green 2030
- Antonio Campagnoli, World President of FIABCI – The International Real Estate Federation
The signing took place under the patronage of Johan Vibe, Norwegian Ambassador to Italy, with the honored presence of Cecilie T. Myrseth, Minister of Trade and Industry of Norway.

What This Means for the Future
This partnership signifies more than symbolic support — it sets the foundation for real, tangible cooperation between Nordic and Ukrainian actors focused on green, circular, and bio-based construction.
Under the agreement:
- NOCON becomes the official co-organizing partner of Rebuild Green 2030 events in the Nordic countries.
- Joint initiatives will include:
- Innovation hackathons
- Municipal cooperation
- Cross-border project implementation
- All actions will be integrated into the official Rebuild Green 2030 program and benefit from strategic media outreach and stakeholder engagement.

A Shared Commitment to Regeneration
This collaboration embodies our shared commitment to:
- Advancing bio-based construction
- Scaling circular economy principles
- Supporting knowledge exchange across borders
- Rebuilding communities with nature-based, low-carbon solutions
For Modulina, it’s another step toward our mission to make sustainable building accessible, scalable, and impactful — from Bucha to Severynivka and now extending to possibility to have productive partnerships with the companies which will join the Rebuild Green 2030 program from the Nordics.

Looking Ahead to 2030
The memorandum is active through 2030, aligning fully with the long-term goals of the Rebuild Green 2030 initiative and strengthening the growing ecosystem of regenerative design and construction.
As we face global challenges, we must also seize global opportunities. This partnership represents exactly that — a bold, strategic step toward building back better, not alone, but together. Trond Olsen, CEO of NOCON, also has joined the organized by RebuildGreen2030 program side event in Rome on July 12, where he undersigned the Rome Rebuild Green Declaration, which has been supported by more then 20 stakeholders from 12 countires, including 5 territorial communities, international organizations, contech and proptech companies and NGOs from Ukraine and abroad.

We thank all our partners and supporters who continue to believe in the power of collaboration, circularity, and change. We are on the road to Rebuild Green Hackathon 2026 and let’s make it very plentiful and as green as possible!
The next step in this journey takes place in September, during the FIABCI International Trade Mission – RE KEY: Italy 2025, where a dedicated Ukraine Track will continue the momentum, bring more cities and companies into the fold, and offer a platform for new signings and solution demos.
